Guide to Malaga - Tapas Bar |
This is recently my tapas bar number 1 in Malaga :) Here I am reminded of old Malaga - good quality, good price and a homely atmosphere, that is why I love this city.
I do not know how it happened that I missed this tapas bar for so long, somehow it was just not on the way and when during one evening, when we were looking for a "new place", we just remembered about La Peregrina ... and we lost and stayed, literally :) We liked it so much that we came the next evening with the rest of our friends and they brought more. However, the greatest confirmation for me were the words of appreciation from my friend's husband, who has a good taste for both wine and food (which is, as for a real, older malagueno, :) Since he says - "Joanna this place is great, try chopitos, one of the best in the city ", I have no questions anymore.
I recommend you to try a little bit of everything, because the sea fruits are deliciously cooked. Plus, the tapas portion is pretty decent.
I especially recommend:
- Ensalad Pipirrana
- Pulpo
- Chopitos Plancha
- Croquetas Choco
This is a real, untamed, non-touristic Malaguayan cuisine. I guarantee that you will love this place :)
La Perergrina can be found at Calle Madre De Dios 37 Open 12:30 - 16:30, from 19:30; Sunday and Monday
